Our Focus
Prior to relocating to Texas, Angel Heart Sanctuary was founded in 2022 as Taos Mesa Animal Sanctuary, specifically for a pack of feral, shy dogs in Northern New Mexico.
The sanctuary has always had its main focus on rehabilitating feral, shy, fearful, under-socialized, neglected and abused dogs.
Behavioral Rehab Program
Similar to boarding, we offer monthly rates to assess and work with dogs that are having challenges in the home, being misunderstood or simply needing some time to rehabilitate from trauma.
This program is on a case by case basis dependent on our space availability and the needs of the individual dog.
